An urgent appeal has come in from local dad Ian Labon, whose daughter Jessica has not been seen since yesterday morning (Friday, 7th November 2014) – West Midlands Police are involved, and I’m asking all readers to keep a look out and if they know where Jessica is, to please ask her to contact her parents.

Serious road accident in Shelfield last night
Last night (Thursday 30th October 2014) there was a serious road traffic collision on the Lichfield Road in Shelfield in which six people were hurt – I’m getting lots of enquiries about this, and the following press release was issued by West Midlands Ambulance Service and posted on their blog.

Walsall Wood take Dunkirk again
Walsall Wood FC returned to form in blistering style on Saturday afternoon (20th September 2014) as they beat Dunkirk FC 4-1 away – the 4 up against Dunkirk thing seems a bit of a running theme, as last time Wood were away to the Nottingham boys, they crushed them 4-0.

Serious accident between car and horse drawn cart near Stonnall
Following an incident this evening (Friday, 19th September 2014) a large amount of rumour has been circulating on local social media about the nature of a road traffic accident involving a horse-drawn vehicle on the Chester Road, at Lazy Hill, between Aldridge and Shire Oak.
