I’m sad to report that yesterday evening (Wednesday 21st December 2016) there was a serious road traffic incident on the Ogley Road near it’s junction with the Lichfield Road at Co-op Corner in Brownhills.
Hi folks – there’s been a collision in Brownhills this evening in which a pedestrian has been injured requiring emergency services attention, and it seems the driver of the vehicle involved failed to stop.
Following the remarkable events on Sunday afternoon, involving a double stabbing, attempted robbery of a convenience store and head on crash into an ambulance in Brownhills West, a local man has been charged with 10 counts, including attempted murder.
Following the much-reported criminal incident in Brownhills West yesterday, when two local men were stabbed, a further statement has been issued from West Midlands Police today (Monday 31st October 2016), who are continuing to investigate the events that occurred, resulting in a 32 year old local man being detained.
In the early morning today (Saturday, 22nd October 2016) residents in Kingfisher Close, on the Watermead Estate, Brownhills were awoken by a car leaving the road and smashing through the wall of their garage.
I’ve been contacted by readers Denis Jones and Ian Race, who both spotted a rather extraordinary thing at Chasewater yesterday: an echo of the past, whit modern amphibious cars cruising around the lake.
There’s been an unfortunate RTA at Walsall Council, and it deserves as wide exposure as possible.
