Brownhills stabbing: Suspect named and charged
Following the remarkable events on Sunday afternoon, involving a double stabbing, attempted robbery of a convenience store and head on crash into an ambulance in Brownhills West, a local man has been charged with 10 counts, including attempted murder.
Police release more details of Brownhills West incident
Following the much-reported criminal incident in Brownhills West yesterday, when two local men were stabbed, a further statement has been issued from West Midlands Police today (Monday 31st October 2016), who are continuing to investigate the events that occurred, resulting in a 32 year old local man being detained.
Chasewater Railway – ride the Ghost Train this evening!
I note Chasewater Railway have Halloween ghost trains running this evening (30th October 2016) with prizes for fancy dress, ghostly fun and games and much more spooky fun for all the family!

Great live music and free Halloween fancy dress disco at The Chase Inn tonight!
The good folk of the Chase Inn at Newtown, Brownhills have been in touch to let me know that there’s live music and Halloween fun with a free entry fancy dress disco at the popular Brownhills pub tonight (Saturday 29th October 2016), with live music on stage from rock covers band Dark Page live from 8pm until late.

Serious road accident in Shelfield last night
Last night (Thursday 30th October 2014) there was a serious road traffic collision on the Lichfield Road in Shelfield in which six people were hurt – I’m getting lots of enquiries about this, and the following press release was issued by West Midlands Ambulance Service and posted on their blog.
