Appeal made for household items in aid of couple affected by Wyre Close fire
Following the unfortunate house fire in Wyre Close, Walsall Wood on Saturday evening (3rd December 2016) friend of the couple affected, Abigail Claire has been appealing for anyone that may be discarding useful household items to donate them if they can.

The community rallies around to help Graham – a message of thanks
Last week there was an outpouring of justifiable shock and outrage when Holly Lane amputee Graham had his wheelchair stolen from outside of his bungalow, presumably by a group of local youths, only to be found later near the skate park at Oak Park, trashed beyond repair.

Stolen wheelchair found trashed at Oak Park: Appeal for replacement launched
Yesterday, I placed an appeal for anyone who might have seen a black wheelchair, or those who stole it from a driveway in Holly Lane, Walsall Wood – sadly, it was later found on Oak Park near the skatepark, vandalised beyond repair.

Urgent! Despicable theft of wheelchair in Walsall Wood – can you help, please?
Really urgent one just in please – if you can at all help, please do; this is a nasty and needless theft which impacts seriously on the quality of life of a disabled gentleman, and I ask you, who on earth would stoop so low as to steal a bloody wheelchair?

An appeal reaches me via Facebook from Pool House Veterinary Hospital – rather delightful Yorkshire Terrier was found in Shire Oak Park, Brownhills/Walsall Wood and it would be nice if we could reunite her with his owners.

Many people have contacted me about the Police helicopter being up over Brownhills and Clayhanger yesterday night (Wednesday, 31st August 2015) – it seems that local police were conducting a search from a pair of missing children in Clayhanger.
