Woodmen score big in City triumph
It was back to winning for Walsall Wood FC on Wednesday last (20th December 2017) as they travelled up the A461 to Lichfield and decisively beat Lichfield City FC in their W Hunt Cup fixture.

Walsall Wood wipe out Wednesfield, whilst villains find crusading Moors a tough battle
Last Tuesday evening (28th November 2017) Walsall Wood FC entertained Wednesfield at Oak Park who, it’s fair I think to say, the Woodmen made short work of.

Woodmen make swift work of Stourport, but bitten by Adders
A shock for the mighty Woodmen yesterday, then (Saturday 25th November 2017) as Walsall Wood FC were defeated away at Atherstone Town in a great match much enjoyed by Bill Shaw.

HSBC branch in Brownhills to close in November
I’m sad to report that the last High Street Bank bank in Brownhills, HSBC will close for good on Friday, 25th November 2016 – this comes amidst the slump in the use of High Street branches caused by online and telephone banking, and the general woes of the bank in general – HSBC has closed over 100 branches already this year.
