Brownhills stabbing: Suspect named and charged
Following the remarkable events on Sunday afternoon, involving a double stabbing, attempted robbery of a convenience store and head on crash into an ambulance in Brownhills West, a local man has been charged with 10 counts, including attempted murder.
Police release more details of Brownhills West incident
Following the much-reported criminal incident in Brownhills West yesterday, when two local men were stabbed, a further statement has been issued from West Midlands Police today (Monday 31st October 2016), who are continuing to investigate the events that occurred, resulting in a 32 year old local man being detained.
Great news – Woody the cat returns home!
Leoni Thacker has been in touch to let us know that Woody, the lovely ginger and white cat who went missing from the Lichfield Road area of Brownhills in the last few days, turned up safe and well this morning at 1:00am!

Missing ginger and white cat – can you help please?
Leoni Thacker has been in touch to ask readers to look out for her cat, who’s gone missing from the Claverdon Close area of Brownhills (That’s just off the Lichfield Road near the Memo) following some building work.

The Royal Oak – a new chapter unfolding?
Thanks to reader Caz who pointed out last week that an application has been made to build a close of houses on the land currently occupied by the former Royal Oak pub in Bullings Heath, opposite the Black Cock pub in Walsall Wood.
