Walsall Wood football: Reserves shine, first team still looking for victory
It’s now late February and the mixed fortunes at Oak Park continue – the first team still have yet to bag a win in 2017, and came back from Quorn with a score draw to show; but the reserve team continue their stonking run of good form, beating Romulus 6-1.

Beleaguered Wood lose to Alvechurch
Yesterday afternoon (4th February 2017) Walsall Wood FC travelled south to play Alvechurch away, and were sadly beaten, continuing a very unfortunate sequence of losses for the beleaguered lads from The Wood.

Woodmen beat Mikes in artificial pitch upset
It was uncharted territory for Walsall Wood yesterday (12th November 2016) as Walsall Wood FC travelled the short hop to Boldmere St. Michael’s to fight it out on the new all weather pitch – and they came home with a respectable win.

Brownhills Somme Centenary Remembrance Service – this Friday
Theres a really important service taking place this Friday morning (1st July 2016), commemorating the centenary of the commencement of the Battle of the Somme – the service is being held by Brownhills British Legion at the Cenotaph at St. James Church in Brownhills at 11:00am.

Fantastic scenes at Oak Park last Tuesday evening (2nd February 2016) as Walsall Wood smashed their way to a 6 – 1 victory over visitors Rocester – congratulations to the Woodmen on a great victory!
