Woodmen make big noise in the City
The Woodemen were again on stonking form on Saturday last (30th December 2017) as they travelled down the road to Lichfield City to show the Lichfeldians a clean set of heels for the second time in recent weeks – it’s not often we get to best Ye Olde City.

Walsall Wood suffer January jinx as they lose to St. Andrews
Yesterday afternoon (Saturday 28th January 2017) Walsall Wood F.C. played Leicester newcomers St. Andrews FC away, and sadly failed to break the January jinx that seems to have descended.

Lichfield City end Walsall Wood’s cup dreams
It was bad news for Walsall Wood on Tuesday evening when they were away against Lichfield City, who knocked them out of the Walsall Senior Cup after some very strong soccer.

Walsall Wood FC away matches this afternoon!
I’m not terribly clear what’s happening exactly, but there are two Walsall Wood friendly away matches scheduled this afternoon; one at Lichfield City listed kickoff 3pm and another against Wolverhampton Sporting CFC at Great Wyrley also listed also for 3pm – I believe it’s two separate teams, whether the Great Wyrley game is a youth team or something, I can’t seem to ascertain.
