Woodmen bust Bolehall in Christmas cracker
Must say, it’s nice to be featuring reports of Walsall Wood FC getting back on their winning run – yesterday, Saturday 23rd December 2017 they travelled to Tamworth to face Bolehall, and after a good-spirited match they came away the victors, again by a considerable margin.

Walsall Wood Reserves blather Bolehall – and some important news for Pelsall Villans!
The young David Evans yesterday (Saturday, 30th September 2017) attended the Walsall Wood reserves home match at Oak Park, and watched the Wood lads blather Bolehall eight-nil – but in a surprise development, this barnstormer seems to be the last game for the reserves for at least this season.

Walsall Wood Reserves bested by Browmsgrove
While I’m clearing the football backlog, there’s a great review here from Simon Evans of the Reserve Team match that took place at Oak Park last Saturday, 17th September 2017 which saw the visitors beat the home side two-one.

Walsall Wood Reserves melt Cadbury’s defences
There was no first team match for Walsall Wood FC yesterday, but as I noted here, the Reserves were playing their Cadbury Athletic counterparts at Oak Park.

Walsall Wood football: Reserves shine, first team still looking for victory
It’s now late February and the mixed fortunes at Oak Park continue – the first team still have yet to bag a win in 2017, and came back from Quorn with a score draw to show; but the reserve team continue their stonking run of good form, beating Romulus 6-1.

Walsall Wood couldn’t beat Lye, but reserves hold Rocester to a draw
Yesterday afternoon (Saturday, 8th January 2017), Walsall Wood were away at Lye Town, and after a match played on a very poor quality pitch, Wood were beaten two nil.
