Festival of Water comes to Pelsall – all this weekend!
Those who remember the excellent Pelsall Canal Festivals will be pleased to note that this weekend, there’s a similar three day festival taking place on the canals and common around Norton Junction in Pelsall, featuring over a hundred boats, stalls, displays, fun and entertainment for all the family.

New Hall Mill – A local, working watermill – open today
New Hall Mill is open again today (Sunday, 14th June 2015) for their Wild Flower Day and I can heartily recommend the place – it’s fascinating and I had a great time there last Bank Holiday Monday – not enough people know about this wonderful building.

Sorry folks – I turn on the computer to find the sad news that Walsall Woodstock – the pop festival scheduled today and tomorrow for Walsall Wood Football Club – has been cancelled.

Walsall Woodstock – the hotly anticipated music festival taking place this weekend at Walsall Wood Football Club (Sunday 24th May and Monday 25th May 2015) – has had a bit of a rethink, and the good news is it’s now free entry both days (though charitable donations in lieu of entire are welcomed).
