Beautiful balloons!
One thing I’d like to do more of here is promote or profile local businesses – I think local traders, be they retail, craftspeople or professional services are hugely important to the local economy, and I think it would be nice to promote them more where possible.

2015 Walsall local election results – the political pendulum swings back?
Well, Walsall politics is never dull and following the surprise routing of Labour nationally, despite strong performance from their local Parliamentary candidates, Walsall Council swung back within reach of the Conservatives following the local election count this afternoon.

Today (Saturday 19th July 2014), it will be the second Brownhills Town Summer Festival, staged by Brownhills Town Centre Partnership and Walsall Council – following the success of the Christmas event last year and the excellent Canalside Festival, this one looks set to be a belter.
