Yesterday, I received this appeal from Mark Fellows of Age UK, who’s compiling a list of services, clubs and activities for those aged 50 plus in our area – first up, he needs contact details for Clayhanger Senior Citizens Club, but also details of any such services for senior citizens in out area.

I’m trying to find out the status of local schools tomorrow, Monday 21st January 2013.
Theoretically, there’s a list of all schools closed in Walsall on Walsall Council’s website here, although Serco, the body charged with running education in Walsall, hasn’t bothered to update it since Friday at the current time of publication (9:20pm, Sunday 20th January)…
