Walsall Wood wipe out Wednesfield, whilst villains find crusading Moors a tough battle
Last Tuesday evening (28th November 2017) Walsall Wood FC entertained Wednesfield at Oak Park who, it’s fair I think to say, the Woodmen made short work of.

Walsall Wood FC away to Coventry Alvis this afternoon, whilst Pelsall Villa play Evesham’s Montpelier at Oak Park
Come and Support Walsall Wood FC away against Coventry Alvis FC this Saturday in a key match where the Wood have everything to play for – can they unsettle league leaders Studley?

Walsall Wood hammer Hinckley, and other club news including a temporary home for Pelsall Villa!
I’ve a whole tranche of Walsall Wood football news today as I feature a disparate collection of submissions – photos of last Saturday’s Cadbury Athletic match from Simon Evans, a match report from Bill Shaw of Tuesday’s away victory at Hinckley and photos from last weeks Pelsall Villa – Redditch game that was played at Oak Park de to the vandalism difficulties at the Villan’s home ground.

Walsall Wood under 18s surprise Villans with second half resurrection
The young David Evans was off again on Wednesday night (2nd September 2015) to see the generally on-form Walsall Wood Under 18 side return from underdogs to make mincemeat out of Pelsall Villa Under 18s – he sent the following match report (or should be post mortem?)…

No shame in loss for Villans
Bill Shaw can’t leave the football alone, and since Walsall Wood had the day off yesterday, and since Bill lives in Leicestershire, it was a no-brainer for him to pop to Nuneaton to watch his other love, Pelsall Villa in action against Nuneaton Griff.

Walsall Wood stumble at Pelsall, plus match and fixture updates from Bill Shaw
Well, you can’t keep a good man down, and never was the adage more true than with Walsall Wood FC’s Bill Shaw, who’s been struggling with a bad chest of late and not been able to catch the matches he’d like.

Gearing up for the new season at Walsall Wood FC… and an appeal
It’s been a while since the end of the season and we last heard from Bill Shaw or the folks at Walsall Wood Football Club – I can rectify that right now with the following wonderful message from Bill Shaw, who’s written a catch up note, a brief explanation of the start of the season and and is also appealing for help at the club.

Heroes and Villans
Well, you can’t keep a good man down, and never was the adage more true than with Bill Shaw, when this surprise match report plopped in to my inbox last night.
