Pictures from Brownhills Remembrance 2018 –
Images Kindly supplied by Alyssa Timbrell
Last Sunday 11th November 2018 saw the annual marking of Remembrance Day in the UK and I’m pleased to say Walsall and South Staffordshire did themselves and the fallen proud and staged a whole range of parades and events that were well supported and attended – and I was especially pleased to see the wonderful turnout and effort made in Brownhills.
Sadly, although the events were busier than ever, not many folk posted images this year. There was a great set from roving Reporter David Evans that I featured last week from Walsall Wood’d Parade, but I had nothing much for Brownhills.

The community is ever grateful for the service and hard work of the Dance family.
I asked for help on Facebook as Walsall Council were also looking for images of borough Remembrance to share, and I am flattered and honoured to have received a wonderful gallery of very professional images taken by Alyssa Timbrell, which I include above.
The set came via parade stalwarts Wendy and Julie Dance, who with Ron Dance are there driving force behind the annual event in Brownhills. My thanks and best wishes to the Dance family, and of course to Alyssa for sharing her wonderful work.
Old friend of the blog Dave Cresswell posted this interesting and well executed live feed from the event too. Thanks to Dave for sharing that.
Thank you for all who organised, took part of went and paid their respects: Brownhills did the fallen proud as it does every year.
We shall always remember them.
