It’s taken me a couple of weeks to edit this up due to being somewhat busy with other stuff, but it’s not worked out so bad. A ride from near Maquis Drive, on Cannock Chase, up over Rifle Range Corner, past the old Butts, down into Abrahams Valley and out onto the A513 at Seven Springs.
All during the snows we had on Saturday, 19th January 2013. It was a great ride.
This is a normal, road style bike with snow tyres and a determined rider.
The music is the wonderful ‘Lunar Sea’ by Camel. it just seemed to fit.
What a ride, some of those roads and tracks were bad.
Yeah, very cool ride! Like the video!
Rain-X produces from Halfords will help keep the water, muck off the GoPro case and help with fogging, Bob.
What possessed you I know not! Not even the solitary beauty entices me because I could feel your goosebumps!
a wonderful off-beat video with off-beat music( I think its 3/4) that matches perfectly. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Bob, Having ridden a lot of the Chase myself, albeit 20 years and 20 kilos ago, I know what hard work it can be in the sun and the dry on a warm summers day.
In the cold, snow on the ground, at night! I think the word determined is a little of an understatement!
You’re right about the music it just seems to go with the video somehow.
Brought back some great memories for me and my eldest lad, who then was attached to the back of my bike with a homemade contraption.
Thanks a lot Bob.
