Did you see this hit and run collision in Lichfield Road last night?

Did you see a very nasty series of collisions ion the Lichfield Road, Brownhills on Saturday night? Imagery from Apple Maps.

Witnesses are being sought to a very unpleasant traffic incident last night on the Lichfield Road in Brownhills, between Grasmere Gardens and the Co-op Corner junction with Ogley/Chase roads – I actually passed the aftermath of this and the car in question looked very seriously damaged.

Police know about the 4×4 dumped in Brookland Road, Walsall Wood this morning: Whilst it seems stolen, Tracey is convinced the vehicle involved in this incident was a grey pickup with a hard top back, like a HiLux or similar, so keep an open mind folks.

I have approached West Midlands Police for a statement and will pass one on if one materialises.

If anyone has CCTV (or dash cam footage)

If any of my friends in Brownhills have seen a 4×4 pick up in grey travelling on Lichfield Road from Grasmere Garden Center across the lights towards the tin man island, this driver drove into a car by Grassmere and then into my daughter and her boyfriend.

He has pushed my daughters car for at least 50 yards down the road, the back end of her car is pushed into the boot.

He then drove into another car.

The police drove my daughter’s car back its a right mess, Leah and Tom are both safe even though they are sore and in pain –please message me if you have seen anything at all.

Anyone with information is urged to contact West Midlands Police by dialling 101 or speak to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
