Break in last night at Pelsall Road stables – did you see anything?

You can’t not love the work Stevie and the folks do with kids. Image from Steve ie Ansell’s website.

An appeal reaches me from Stevie Ansell who runs the riding stables on Pelsall Road, Brownhills – between Thursday night and this morning (overnight 4-5th January 2017), a break-in took place at the yard.

Hi Bob,

Happy New Year!

Sadly we had another break in last night – scumbags broke into the green lock up on the actual car park on front of stables at Pelsall Road.

This would have been noticeable to anybody driving or passing by – they tried to hotwire the quad bike and when they couldn’t, used the electric cable that runs to generator to try another way. They have probably blown all electrics on it – Mechanic checking – we have only just paid £800 to have it fixed from last time that they tried to steal it…

Wondered whether you could ask your followers to keep an eye out as I fear they will come back – getting new cameras as ones we had were stolen and smashed…

Many Thanks as usual Bob! You do an amazing job x

Stevie and the stables do a huge amount of great work, and it’s terrible that anyone would steal from them and cause them hardship.

It’s worth pointing out that these monkeys only do this because there’s a market for what they take: if anything you’re offered is suspiciously cheap, don’t buy it: it’s probably nicked from someone like you.

You can contact Walsall Police by dialling 101 (999 in an emergency, obviously) or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

Please come forward with any information you have. If you don’t want to contact Stevie or the police directly, drop me a line on BrownhillsBob at Googlemail dot com. Thanks.
