Concerned about local crime issues? Meeting this Wednesday in Rushall

In light of recent events, there’s a very interesting meeting taking place at 7:30pm this coming Wednesday, 2nd August 2017 – that of Rushall, Sheffield and Pelsall Neighbourhood Watch – and there’s a specific invitation to Brownhills residents.

The meeting takes place at the Springfields Community Centre, 10 Springfields, Rushall, WS4 1JX – just off the A461 at Rushall Square.

With recent concerns about local crime and ongoing antisocial behaviour issues – this could be your chance to get your voice heard. If you’ve been unhappy with recent police performance, this would be a good forum at which to raise that, or any other related issue you may have.

This message is to update you with what is going on with neighbourhood watch in your area.

Neighbourhood watch works best when it is organised and led by the residents, so with this in mind a well-organised local group, Rushall, Shelfield and Pelsall Neighbourhood Watch, have offered to step in and help revitalise neighbourhood watch in Brownhills.  This makes sense as Brownhills is covered by the same policing team as Rushall, Shelfield and Pelsall.

The next meeting of the Rushall, Shelfield and Pelsall group is to be held this Wednesday, 2nd August, at Springfields Community Centre in Rushall, starting at 7.30pm.  Any residents of Brownhills who wish to attend will be most welcome.

I understand that a meeting for Brownhills is to be organised soon, however as you will appreicate this requires willingness from and participation by local residents and businesses.  If you would like to take part, or have more information, please contact Mr Michael Styles on m.styles1@btopenworld.com or pass me your details and I will ask him to contact you.  Michael is a volunteer member of the community who has many years experience in neighbourhood watch.

Working together we can delvelop a strong neighbourhood watch group in Brownhills.

With best wishes.

Kevin.
