In all the fuss and bother of the election, it would be easy to overlook this essential Brownhills British Legion VE Day Commemoration taking place this Friday, 8th May at the Cenotaph in Brownhills.

Thankfully, Martin Littler kindly reminded me!

Brownhills British Legion will be holding a commemoration service for VE day, at St James Church Brownhills at the Cenotaph.

It will take place on Friday 8th May 2015 at 11:00am, all welcome, lets give them support.

    MEMOURIES OF VE DAY i went to amassive bon fire in ogley crescent with my girl friend brenda hayward who was to become my wife of 59 years happy days no more black outs sirens ore air rade shelters happy days we owed so mutch to those who never came back and those whose future lifes that were changed bodily thank god for what they did to give us the freedom to plan our future today think on all those who say i can’t be bothered god bless
