Watling Street School burgled over half term – did you see anything?

Untitled 6

Watling Street School is a great school. Sad they had to lose equipment in this way. Imagery from Bing! Maps.

It’s time, I’m very much afraid, to issue another warning – it seems local burglars are at is again – in this case they targeted Watling Street School up on the A5 twice over half term, with computer equipment being stolen on both occasions.

Eryl Powell, from the school, said:

Hello Bob

Warning to local schools etc. – Watling Street School broken into twice during half-term, both same method – breeze blocks smashed through windows.

Laptops and iPads stolen.

Nursery kids’ toys showered with broken glass everywhere, from smashed door.

Thanks,
Eryl

If you’re offered a cheap laptop or iPad, think hard about where it might have come from, and by all means grub the people flogging them into the rozzers – the stuff is probably nicked. Next time, it could be your stuff they take.

Anyone with information on these or other crimes in the recent spate of thefts is urged to contact West Midlands Police by dialling 101 or you can speak to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
