Someone said yesterday of the local spate of fires that such things come in threes – that certainly appears to be the case as in the early hours of Saturday, 29th October 2016 a car was set on fire deliberately in a wooded area near Clayhanger Bridge, Brownhills.
This follows the other fires this week at the former Terrace Restaurant and the stables near Whitehorse Road.

FIRE crews rushed to tackle a blazing car near Walsall which is believed to have been set alight by arson.
West Midlands Fire Service attended the incident close to Clayhanger Bridge, Brownhills, at 12.43am.
Crews extinguished the blaze, which completely engulfed the car, identified as a Fiat Punto.
The car, which was down a bank, had been deliberately set on fire and was being considered a case of arson, a spokesperson for West Midlands Fire Service told the Advertiser.
Crews left the scene at 1.05am.
