Wonder if any local football fans can help me. I am researching footballers born in the Black Country and have arrived at George Dorsett who played for West Brom and Man City in the early 1900’s and was born in Brownhills. I also believe he played for Brownhills Town FC? I can find little reference to this club. It has been suggested to me that they played in Narrow Lane, Brownhills in those days possibly in the Staffs County League. Can anyone confirm this or does anyone have any further information? Most grateful. Thanks.
