For The Good Of The Wood!
What an odd name for a Midlands footie side. Presumably, they fight back in the last twenty minutes!
Dunkirk is a residential suburb in Nottingham !
Still an odd name. What is the origin?
HI Bob
I hope this will be the sort of high octane encounter that we have seen the Redsters performing of late..and in this gentle, dappled afternoon sunshine perhaps we will see them there darting around the field, like early spring lambs, full of fun …and a few frollicks hither and thither!
Come on the Wood. Thats the way to do it!
David
Hi Andy
Dunkirk….an excellent question…the matchday programme, soon to be a collector’s item, says just this about Dunkirk FC…..
“Dunkirk FC were founded in 1946 and their nickname is “The Boatmen” “…so, please Dunkirk FC can you add to this single sentence. The plot thickens!
regards
David
