Quiet corners

I just thought I’d draw readers attention to the a great blog post by Lichfield theologian Patrick Comerford. It’s a lovely bit of physical Lichfield history, and something I was only aware existed after studying the recently posted old maps of Lichfield, where the unusual name snagged my attention. This remarkable post has been drawn to my attention by both the excellent Beacon Street Blog and Lichfield Lore, both fine blogs to read whilst wearing a favourite old cardigan.

I just love how the local blog community keeps turning up gems like this. My compliments to Patrick on a fine piece of work, and a truly lovely blog.

Patrick Comberford: great blog, and a brilliant explanation of hidden history. Click on the screenshot to visit the post.
