I know readers here in the past have been very helpful to the community that live in the Knaves Court extra care facility near Anchor Bridge, Brownhills: In the past good people have rallied around to help with the community garden and with other appeals.

Well, Janet Grinnell the Knaves Court Activities Coordinator has been in touch with a rather unusual appeal for help – they need someone who can record their Christmas pantomime!

Janet explained:

Hi Bob

This is Janet from Knaves court – you’ve been amazing with helping us in the past and we wondered if you might be able to help us get a message out again?

Some of the residents and staff here have agreed to try and do a pantomime together at Christmas (I say pantomime in the very loosest sense of the word, but hopefully it’ll be alright on the night)!

We were wondering if there is anyone out there in the photography profession who would help video it for us so that those of our residents who can’t come down to the lounge would still be able to enjoy the fun watching it later on DVD?

It should last no more than half an hour, if that, and  will in no way be a polished performance, just residents and staff having fun together at Christmas and probably fluffing our lines (but Christmas should be full of laughter, that’s our excuse and we’re sticking to it) .  It will take place on the Friday afternoon before Christmas.

If there’s anyone out there willing to help us that would be wonderful.
