…and lo a man called Gove did come…..but the skies fell dark ….for poor little Michael had not been taught to read and write properly….and his work was full of mistakes…for his teachers had not taught him to communicate in clear English….and so it came to pass that when he said the schools would be built he did not mean this…so it came to pass that in Sandwell and throughout the land the people were misled…for Michael’s teachers had not taught him properly and his work was full of mistakes.
