Road accidents on Pelsall Road and near the M6 Toll this evening

The Pelsall Road has been closed to through traffic. Image from reader Vicky shows the closure at the Coppice Side/Pelsall Road junction.

I’m receiving bits of information about a couple of road accidents this evening (Saturday, 11th February 2017) – a clearly quite serious one on the Pelsall Road between Brownhills and the Fingerpost, and another either on, or on the approaches to the M6 Toll/Burntwood Way.

From the Highways Agency:

Location The M6 TOLL northbound entry slip at junction T6
Reason Road traffic collision
Status Currently Active
Time To Clear The event is expected to clear between 01:00 and 01:15 on 12 February 2017
Return To Normal Normal traffic conditions are expected between 01:00 and 01:15 on 12 February 2017

Lanes Closed

The Pelsall Road has been closed for a time, and emergency services have been attending.

As soon as I get any official news on either incident I’ll share it here.

My sympathies go out to those involved.
