For all those interested in local history, I’d like to heartily recommend this beautifully written and thoroughly researched article from that wonderful Bloxwich site – I hesitate to call it a blog, it’s so much more than that – The Bloxidge Tallygraph. The gentleman concerned – and gentleman he surely was – came to live in Brownhills in his later years. I wonder if any of you Brownhillians remember him?
