it’s time, I think for the last set in the amazing collection of images sent in by old pal of the blog Dawn Hayton, from her mother’s personal collection – and this is a fantastic set continuing the recent Ogley Hay School May Day celebrations that were a feature of the school for many years.

The top colour photo has me, Adrian Bickley, front left. I think I might be sat next to Carl Beaman. I’m not 100% sure on the others but I think front right might be Karen Brooks, who was my partner on the day, and next to her, Maxine Brown. Top left, I think, is Stephen Cooper, the others I don’t know.
Nice to see reminders of the past, I remember having to learn the moves around the maypole, I was in Ogley Hay infants 1956>1959 just before you photographs. Does this event still carry on? As I now live in Wales, St. David’s day is the main event. Are there any out there around my era who remember me, Michael Sarsfield from Great Charles Street? be nice to make contact.
