Normally on this day every year I run a hoax or joke article for you folk to enjoy.
With the situation as it is this year, right now my heart just isn’t in it and I don’t think it would be appropriate.
I did have what I thought might be a good one lined up for April fools Day this year, but I’ll keep it until we’re in a sunnier clime, and we’ll enjoy it the better.
Stay safe folks.
Hi Bob
Colin Corbett Here – We would love to hear a joke or two – don’t loose your sense of humour at this stage – we all have our own problems , so try and smile . I’ve been at home now for many months as I’m on Home Dialysis and have to sit for many hours linked up to my machine – a bit of wit will help us all. I know you’ve got problems too – but God bless ya – you do a great service to the Community and look forward to more local History & news.
Greatest Regards
Colin Corbett.
Greetings Bob. I don’t think any of us like being under house arrest. Especially when our jailer is a microbe too small for us even to see.
However, staying safe means more than just keeping our bodies safe from the virus, it also means keeping our minds safe from it too. So, bring on the nonsense and humour – we may as well make to most of our incarceration.
I think you’re right. In today’s climate any sort of hoax could just be downright cruel. So many bizarre things going on anyway. We love you ‘Bob’, you make the world a brighter place 💖
Sue, I’m in total agreement about an unkind hoax. However, we do need some humour to sustain us over the next while.
I also agree that we shouldn’t put all of this on to Bob, who has done far, far more than his fair share over many years.
So, a question to Bob, is there anything that we, your dedicated readers, can do to lighten your load? I’m sure that there are many of us who would be willing to help in any way we can.
