Following the sad passing of friend of the blog and local legend Janey Hatfield, her son Sam Perry has made the following announcements,ent regarding Janey’s funeral arrangements.
I’d like to inform people that my mothers funeral will take place on Friday 7th of December 2018 at Streetly Crematorium’s West Chapel with the service starting at 1.45pm.
A meeting point for people who wish to come along from our home address will be departing the house latest 1.15pm if anybody would like to come from there, please feel free to message you so I can send out the address.
The wake will be taking place at the Brickmakers arms (the Brickies) shortly after the service where everybody along with the funeral will be welcome.
Only thing I ask for at this time is anybody that does wish to come to the funeral could we please wait passionately outside the chapel until all family are present as obviously we are expecting an awful lot of people.

Sam has stated that they would prefer family flowers only please, and that the dress code would be whatever you want to wear, as that would be what Janey would want.
For those who would have sent flowers, donations to the fund would be preferred.
