This is a warning to dog walkers in Brownhills – there was a very worrying incident in Holland Park today (Sunday, 29th July 2018), when a local lady was horrified to witness her beloved pet Jack being attacked by a pair of out of control dogs belonging to another park user.

Upset is not the word my poor jack has been viciously attacked due to an irresponsible owner who thought it was ok to have his Staffy and his Pit Bull off the lead (well didn’t even have a lead for a start) on a children’s park.
Been at emergency vets for him to be sedated and needs medication due to lacerations and puncture wounds.
The poor dog is traumatised. As anyone who knows me I’m a massive dog lover but that was the worst experience of my life seeing that happen and those dogs having jack around the throat.
Thank you to Susan Lakin for helping us.
I am making enquiries as to the exact time of the incident (It appears to be late Sunday afternoon, 29th July 2018) and as to any description of the other dog owner. The dogs in question are thought to be a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and a Pit Bull Terrier.
Obviously, if you walk your dog in Holland Park or other parks or commons in the Brownhills area, bear this awful incident in mind and and take care at all times.
Remember, t is an offence not to be in control of your dog.
I wish Lisa and Jack all the best for a speedy recovery, and I’ll update this post when I get more detail.
You can contact Lisa via Facebook here or mail me in confidence at BrownhillsBob at Googlemail dot com and I’ll pass any info on in total confidence.
Not all SBT do this, let this be known, the owner is at fault here for letting her obviously unsociable dogs free out of control. If ANY breed of dog is not socialised they are capable of this, lets not focus so much on the breed but the owner for being irresponsible. Hope the injured make a full recovery.
Oh god, here goes. Wind your neck in nobody has tarred any breed with any brush.
Firstly, there was no indication of the gender of the other dog’s owner.
Secondly, the breeds were specified to aid identification of the dogs in question.
Thirdly, there’s a dog injured here and a traumatised owner.
Let’s worry about them for a bit, yeah?

Its about time this country followed the same ruling as Spain. Its against the law to have a dog off the lead at any time. Yes your dog needs to excersoze and have a run about but the extended leads offer the owner and the fog the ability to do this. I am presuming the owner of the two dogs didn’t cone to the ladies help. Its not the dogs fault but everyone should realise that a dog is a pack animal and one will automatically follow the other. If one has a attack mentality the other will follow. I hope the owner is found. Are there cameras near the area. If so they might be featured. I hope so.
Not a dog owner are you? think about what you say before you spout such garbage! i have kept dogs all my adult life and never had a problem . they also kill bulls for fun in Spain and have building regulations that kill. shall we adopt that too.YOU DON’T OWN A DOG THAT’S EASY TO SEE so why bother talking about a subject that you dont understand and other people are very upset about! this is down to 1 unreasonable owner not a breed of dog or anything else.
Can we wind our necks in please? Thank you.
This is a post warning of, and requesting info relating to a dog attack.
The comment section here is not a vehicle to attack others. As for bulls and building regs when I’m in need of a non sequitur, I’ll give you a call.
Please folks, the matter in hand
