Pictures from the Brownhills Armistice Day 2017 Remembrance Service

Ian Neville and friends ready for the off on a gruelling sponsored run. Image Kindly supplied by David Evans.

I’m indebted to David Evans here for very promptly sending me this lovely gallery of images from this morning’s Remembrance Service at St. James Church, Brownhills.

Whilst Remembrance Sunday sees a larger event with the parade, there is always a quiet and reverential service at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day, and David and a range of other local folk were there.

It’s also worth pointing out that local charity whizz Ian Neville and pals were also at the service, after which they commenced their sponsored run to Walsall Cenotaph via Pelsall and Bloxwich War Memorials to raise money for next year’s Remembrance Parade. You can donate to the fund by clicking here.

Thanks to all for their participation, Remembrance and respect, and thanks to David for supplying lovely photos of such an important community event.

All images Kindly supplied by David Evans.
