The trip boat was run at no charge for passengers but many left a donation for the BCN Society who own it and use it as a work boat to clean up the canals of Birmingham & the Black Country. It was such a pleasure to hear so many happy people enjoying the canal from the water. Phoenix is kept at the BCN Society’s HQ at Oldbury & it is a 2 day trip to get it to Brownhills …. but worth it!! We loved the day.
