Hey up – an interesting enquiry here I’m hoping readers can help with regarding a gentleman who served in the army, and married a lady from the Avenues in Brownhills.

Old pal Fred Seabury is trying to trace Les Hudson for a reunion. He wrote:

Hello Bob

I am an ex serviceman and I am trying to trace a fellow named LES HUDSON.

Les came from Kidderminster but he married a girl from First Avenue, Brownhills.

We are holding an army reunion shortly and we would like Les to attend.

We were in 19 Tank Transporter Company, Royal Army Service Corps and we were based at Retford, Notts.

If there is anyone out there that can help me to find Les I would appreciate it very much.
