Are you looking for a little black cock?

This seems like a fancy bird that someone could well be missing. Images kindly supplied by Chris Wharton.

An odd request here from top bloke and old friend of the blog Chris Wharton who lives near the Barracks Lane/Lichfield Road junction at the very foot of Shire Oak at Sandhills – if you’re looking for a little black cockerel, Chris has found it!

Hiya Bob

I’ve got an unusual request. We’ve got a black cockerel in the field next to ours.

I’ve contacted The Lanes at Home Farm, Crestacre and also the vets at Warrenhouse to no avail.

The old man thinks it’s been dumped and we’ve contacted the RSPCA who will try and send someone out.

Could you put it out to post please just in case?

Cheers
Chris 🙂

Cheers to Chris for one of the more unusual enquiries I’ve ever had…

If you recognise this lad, please do comment here, or you can contact me by email – BrownhillsBob at Googlemail dot com.

Cheers folks – it’d be nice to get the bird reunited with it’s owners.
