Ogley Hay Football Team, 1965: Rest in peace Brian Bottomer

The 1965 Ogley Hay lineup – Brian Bottomer is second from right, front row. A lovely image kindly supplied by George Martin.

A lovely image reaches me accompanied by some rather sad news from reader George Martin, who’s remembering the Ogley Hay Football Team from Brownhills, who were prizewinners in the 1960s.

George has send a photo of the 1965 team,  with all but one of the people fully named, and points out with great sadness that former member Brian Bottomer sadly passed away this Tuesday last (6th December 2016).
