I visited this cafe quite often when i was a lorry drive in the nineteen seventies and eighties and always found it very good and would always have a chat with the local lads who worked for Carringtons and a guy named Les who worked for air products and also Barry and his father Joe many happy memories of this cafe Geoff Houghton ex Triplex and Pilkington Glass driver from St Helens
