Ian Neville: A true local hero!

Ian Neville is surely worthy of a local hero award. Image from the Pride of Britain website.

Anyone from Brownhills or the surrounding area will know local fundraiser, poet and character Ian Neville – well, this is an invitation from Ian’s friend Pete Sutton, who’s suggested we all nominate Ian for the Pride of Birmingham 2018 awards, in recognition of his fundraising efforts.

Ian works hard for a number of charities, particularly the Midlands Air Ambulance and the local Remembrance Parade Appeal. You’ll all remember Ian’s book of poetry he compiled for charity, and of events like his sponsored bike ride into Birmingham on the canal.

A great national recognition scheme for people working hard in the community.

I think Ian is highly deserving of this award, and agree wholeheartedly with Pete, who said:

Ladies and Gentlemen of Brownhills…

I have today nominated Ian NEV Neville for a Pride of Britain local hero award.

For those that don’t know Nev and his commitment to charity work and local causes, then please check out his Facebook page here.

Please follow this link here, nominate Nev and lets get this guy the recognition and reward that his selfless efforts deserve

So if you can, please spare a minute to nominate this great Brownhills lad, and let’s see Ian’s hard work and careless effort recognised.

Don’t forget Ian’s book of poetry is still available too!

Ian’s a well known local lad and top bloke! Image from his Facebook page.
