Mystery letter?

I’m pleased to note that after posting about Ray Johnston’s misdelivered Christmas card conundrum at the weekend that the intended recipient – who actually was on Chester Road at Shire Oak – has been located thanks to the efforts of readers and other helpful folk on social media.

I’m particularly pleased as this was the second time it happened, the first being in 2014, and I did wonder if the problem would ever be resolved.

As a follow on and flushed with our success, I was wondering if readers could help local lady Laura Iveson with a similar misplaced greeting?

She has a card – pictured about – dressed to ‘Mrs. E Roberts, 68 Lichfield Road, Sandhills, Brownhills, Walsall.’

The card itself is made out to ‘Edna and Stephen’ and is marked as from ‘Odette and Edwin’.

Google has not helped so far.

If you can help, please comment here or mail me: BrownhillsBob at Googlemail dot com. Cheers!

This sounds like one of our neighbours who live at no. 48 in the Sandhills.
